Small gain theorem in robust control
Webb1 nov. 2007 · We introduce a weaker notion of gain which yields a small-gain condition that is both necessary and sufficient for robust stability. We also discuss conditions under which the two notions coincide, and we further provide results for dissipation performance measures that are more general than the classical gain measures. In control theory, robust control is an approach to controller design that explicitly deals with uncertainty. Robust control methods are designed to function properly provided that uncertain parameters or disturbances are found within some (typically compact) set. Robust methods aim to achieve robust … Visa mer Informally, a controller designed for a particular set of parameters is said to be robust if it also works well under a different set of assumptions. Webb15 maj 2006 · Quantum feedback networks are shown to be stable if the loop gain is less than one--this is an extension of the famous small gain theorem of classical control theory. We illustrate the simplicity and power of the small gain approach with applications to important problems of robust stability and robust stabilization. Authors: D'Helon, C; …
