But, I called Lynwood Harrel once because I had a problem turning the drum. He advised me to remove it and put a little graphite on the drum. Works like a charm now. WebMar 29, 2024 · The Harrell, like most measures, works well with granulated powders, but since I use Varget most of the time for .308 and .22-250 loads, it can have a lot of variation in the powder weight thrown. With Varget, I typically will see about 7 out of ten throws within 0.1 grain, but those other three may be +/- 0.5 grains, which is maddening.
