We add a 50 pound bag of BOSS and a large bag of Calf manna to every 1000 pounds (half ton). Molasses to bind it together (cuts down a lot of dust issues) EVERYONE on our farm gets fed this....horses, goats, pig (the potbelly). WebSep 25, 2011 · 5,133 Posts. #2 · Sep 22, 2011. Do a search for "grain mix" or "grain" using Sondra as the poster. It's a mix of corn, oats, barley, BOSS, and beet pulp. Has about 12% protein. To increase protein for milkers, they are other things you can add, ie. soy, calf manna (which is basically soy) and not sure what else.

My pellet I get delivered into a bulk bin and bring it in by the bag. Fill the bag up so they hold about 75 lbs then dump that in and mix with a half bag of the sweet feed so 100lbs gets mixed at a time. Then repeat until full. cti townsville
