WebActually, making changelings fey has some wild implications in their native setting due to how fey are defined. Said implications are wild enough that Keith Baker, the creator of eberron says that in his campaigns, fey changelings would be an exception, not the rule. So what it this odd conflict? WebThe 5e Monster Manual mentions then in the Doppleganger entry, IIRC, without any reference to Eberron. The MM using changeling to describe the offspring of doppelgangers is a call back to the idea of fey swapped children from folklore. It doesn't relate to the Changeling player race in the Eberron or 3E Core settings.
